A week of gratitude... Thursday

Today I am thankful for the beautiful weather. As I was driving to the studio this morning, to teach my beautiful preschool class, I got to admire the fabulous sunshine that we've been so lucky to have this winter. It certainly put a smile on my face!

A week of gratitude... Wednesday

Today I am grateful for my gorgeous junior jazz class that I taught today at Elite Dance. They are the most enthusiastic little dancers, and they always greet me with such excitement at the beginning of class. There's nothing that makes a dance teacher smile as much as students who really love coming to dance!

A week of gratitude... Tuesday

Today I'm grateful that I own my own businesses and work for myself. It gives me the opportunity to have time to myself when I need it, and allowed me time for an amazing facial at Endota Spa this morning. It was blissful relaxation, and totally worth every cent. I feel rejuvenated and ready to work!

Regular facials are something I would totally recommend. Not just for the fabulous skin benefits, but for the down time. For an hour, I get to lay there with no emails coming through, no phone calls, no customers and no conversation. I get to be with my own thoughts in a quiet and dark room. Often these thoughts do revolve around work, but usually the parts of work that I don't get time for on a day to day basis. Like new marketing ideas to play with. They might not be the best of ideas, but they certainly get the ball rolling!

Go and have a facial. You'll love it!

A week of gratitude... Happy Monday

There has been so much awfulness in the news lately, it seems that the world has forgotten it's humanity. It's terribly depressing to hear that in our world, people kill with such little care about the lives they're snuffing out. So rather than focus on all the grief, I shall spend this week letting you know of something I am grateful for each day. In the immortal words of that fabulous fictional character, Albus Dumbledore: 'Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.'

Day 1:
Today I am grateful for the opportunity to work from home. To spend the day in the company of my fur babies, who always show me unconditional love. I have my laptop set up on the table in our sun filled dining room, with a delicious cup of English breakfast tea. I have some lectures to listen to for uni and some dance accounts to get done, but the fact that I get to do it from the comfort of my home is bliss :)

Happy Monday, beautiful readers!
